Baby vitamins (formula fed)

I've read that babies need vitamins when they have less than 500ml of formula per day...

What vitamins should I be getting? I did phone the Health visitors a couple of weeks ago but don't have a lot of confidence (I have another post on this), I was told just go to the pharmacy and ask for general baby vitamins (and they would know what to give me)...is this correct?

It's A, C and D that you are supposed to give to children under 5

Yeah pharmacy would know which ones, they come in a little dropper bottle I'm sure.

Are you FF now? I was going to say before you buy the vitamins check and see how much they're drinking to see if you even need them at all.

I'm sure my kids definitely drank less than 500ml a day but I didn't use the vitamins if I remember correctly...I can't remember why...

Super, thank you both. Shes currently having around the 500-600 ml mark per day. Just preparing myself for what I need when we are ready.

Yes the pharmacist and staff will be able to advise you! Or can buy baby vitamins from any supermarket

I used to use adidec you can just add a few ml to their bottle or water or even food. My boys are older now but if they're going through a fussy stage I add it to their drinks.

You can just by baby/children’s vitamins from the supermarket or places like Superdrug. I think we used ‘well baby’. You can ask pharmacy staff for help of course if you’re unsure, but the packages are pretty self explanatory.

NHS do Healthy Start drops which you can buy in Superdrug which I found easiest when the were littler.

My toddler now has Natures Aid which we subscribe and save from Amazon

Abidec drops were what we used when I worked with kids/babies who were prescribed vitamin drops so they tend to be what I buy.

We use wellbaby and Ds loves it. As did DD.
