Shoes at Nursery... when?

My little one is almost 13 months old and whilst she's not walking yet she probably spends more time on her feet cruising than she does sitting/crawling. So far I've not been putting shoes on her for nursery, just socks and then bare feet while it's been baking hot. But should I be putting shoes on her now she's cruising so much? Or wait until she is properly walking? Not really sure what the norm is, sorry if this is a ridiculous FTM question 😳

She doesn't need shoes at all unless she's going outside.

Check with the nursery. Ours has a no shoe policy inside in the baby room so didn't have shoes on until he had been walking for a few weeks and got his first 'proper' pair. I did have some soft soled pre walking shoes in his bag to pop on if they went in the garden.

It depends on your nurseries policy , and what you would prefer to do.
A lot of nurseries have a bare feet policy as it has many benefits. Some nurseries prefer shoes or slippers to be worn.

If she's outdoors cruisers are a good idea. Far softer than walking shoes. She doesn't need them indoors though

Our nursery only wanted them in soft shoes when outside, otherwise bare feet or socks. We had some soft moccasin type shoes off Amazon, I remember one of the brands was Dotty Fish.

I'd put some on yes, they can always take them off.
