Don't know what to do

Getting fed up. Every weekend when dh is off work we decide to split the night feeds. I take the first and he takes the second, and whoever is up takes the third.
But every single time, I end up getting up during his feed too because he sleeps through sons waking so I have to get the feed ready, or he'll 'forget' to change him, or assume I'm doing it.
So every weekend I look forward to getting a bit extra sleep and it never happens, at least during the week I know I'm doing everything myself so I'm mentally prepared. Should I just tell dh ill do everything at weekends too to save myself the disappointment of thinking I'm getting more sleep and then not?

Instead of splitting the feeds can you do both night feeds then your husband gets up for the day with baby and you get a lie in?

how old is baby? I used to go to feed at 7pm then go to bed at 8:30/9ish, and my wife would do a dream feed at 10pm then go to bed. That would stretch the baby until 2-3ish, I’d do that then my wife would get up at 5/6ish to do feed and then she’d snooze on the sofa with baby in Moses basket whilst I slept and had a lie in.

No you shouldn't do everything yourself, you should tell your husband to pull his finger out and do it properly! He knows what he needs to do, he just needs to do it.

No, don't let him off, that's what he wants to happen.

Could you do one night each and then the other person has to get up early while the person on the night shift gets a lie in? I used to sleep in the spare room on my night off so I'd get a proper rest.

You should both have a night. You would be surprised how quick you will be able to tune out the wakings when you know if it your night off. And don’t get up and prepare anything, you do enough, it’s your husbands turn.
Even when I was breastfeeding I would take a night and in the spare room. DH would sleep in our room with baby and I would tell him to settle her between feeds and only bring her to me when she absolutely needed feeding.
