Shocked by SAR information

Ok, long story short I had to request a SAR from my DS school due to failings on their part surrounding SEN.
I am pretty shocked at the content.
Complaints I've logged have not been included. Should they be? Also recorded information of the conversations taken place are not the same as I recall. Conversation definitely did not go as they have recorded!
There are also a few Welfare concerns raised which without going into detail I really believe I should have been told, for example things my DS has done that I consider dangerous and serious. Nothing has been said to me or his Grandparents who do the school runs. It's also an incident that my DS cannot recall and I am absolutely shocked no one was told. I've had phone calls about minor things or been questioned about bruises so I can't understand why his near self harm incident wasn't reported to me?

Should welfare concerns be reported to parents?

Sorry to read this .I can assure you it is not unusual you would not believe what my boy and we are currently going through .Can I ask what your purpose of the SAR is for moving forward.

PM me if you prefer but I had serious concerns they were failing him so I requested his entire school file so I could see everything that had been recorded. Things had only been recorded from days after I raised my complaint that nothing was being addressed or logged and he was being left unsupported. I could prove all their years of failures towards my son (looking back it makes me feel sick how much he was failed) but they retaliated by reporting me for abuse to social services justifying their not taking action as they had serious safeguarding concerns. That moment changed me forever!

I have to say, absolutely none of it was found to have any grounds and I was told I was a victim of a particularly malicious school but it's a trauma that will never go away

Also @Untrustingofthesensystem your user name sums up how ALOT of families feel about the system.

Me and my DS have a fantastic team around him now but even his new school still don't support despite all the agencies requesting adjustments to his school day. Why???? Oh because he looks normal. And yes this WAS said to me but his class teacher. Even with numerous assessments in support of his needs we are still fighting
