Sunscreen all year round?

Obviously it's very hot at the moment so sunscreen is a must. However I've been reading about sunscreen as I have a 3 year old with sensitive skin.
Whilst I've been reading I've found sites that recommend in the UK that we use sunscreen March till October and another that says all year round even if you're indoors which has confused me.
Do people put sunscreen on their kids every day regardless of the weather... sorry if this seems naive

I don't do every single day. But most days from June to September. My son has darker skin, he is mixed race and catches the sun very easily. He hates me putting it on though.

No, only on sunny days.

No only sunny days after March.

On a normal sunny day (ie not today!) allow them to have a bit of sunshine before applying suncream to build up vitamin D

I normally look at the uv on any given day. 3 and above I put in suncream. No idea if it's correct but it's what I do🙈

I felt the exact same until I spoke to my derma! She recommended adding something through my make-up routine that became a habit. So I got this spray and it's helped so much!!!!
