Milk before bed?

My daughter is 2 and 2 months old. Maybe I'm just stupid but I just saw a post of a mum whincing in embarrassment that her child roughly the same age has milk before bed. I have a 7 year old son and obviously stopped giving him bottles a long time ago but I had actually not even considered or had it cross my mind to stop giving her bottles. When was I supposed to stop. I feel a right idiot 😂

@qpmz DD has a straw cup (the free flow straw kind not the ones with a valve as apparently they’re not idea either) and I just put it in the top corner of her cot. She’s nearly 2.
She always sleeps near the bottom of the cot for some reason, wriggles herself right down there, but knows where her cup is if she wants a drink.

In bottles? I do think kids do not need bottles after turning one but I'm sure I'm in the minority. It can become a comfort thing (like a dummy) and harder to break.

Stopped at 12 months

My DD is almost 3 and she still has milk at bedtime. It's always been part of the routine so it's hard to stop ... she likes it. I've just slowly replaced cow's milk by oat milk because she has a bit of eczema, and reduced the amount from 200ml to 150ml. I also make sure she cleans her teeth and has a pee before going to bed. TBH it didn't affect potty training, when she decided to be potty trained, she stopped wearing nappies at night too, and was always since.

Mine stopped having a bottle for bed at about 8 months. Totally normal here as they have porridge with milk before bed as an evening meal instead.
