10 month old not doing any gestures… should I be worried?

My litte one turns 10 mo next week and she isn’t doing any gestures at all, she can’t clap, wave, point, she’s clapped hands once and that was that but I think it was a coincidence and I clap and wave to her so much my hands hurt but she just smiles at me and crawls away to do her own thing again. She also doesn’t laugh often maybe once in a blue moon she doesn’t find much funny at all she’ll smile but not laugh and she’ll laugh at it once and if you do it again the next day she just smiles at you instead. She’s a really happy baby always smiling and she’s super busy constantly on the go, crawling, cruising she’s taken a good few steps the last couple of days too and says mama and dada all the time and baba a lot but I’m not sure she knows who’s who yet if she should?
it’s started to make me feel like I haven’t done enough with her and incredibly guilty but no matter how hard I try she doesn’t copy at all so she hasn’t started doing any gestures. Any tips or words of advice please? Thank you so much

Forgot to add she goes to two baby classes weekly (with the same group) and all 12 of the other babies (same age youngest being 8 months) all clap hands and wave but my little one is the only one not to do it

My 11 month old doesn't really clap, she can't wave and doesn't even attempt to.
I hadn't even thought about it being an issue as she just does things in her own time.
Your DD is crawling and cruising, says mama and dada so I really don't think you have anything to worry about.
My DD doesn't cruise yet, she only started crawling a few weeks ago, she babbles but doesn't purposefully say mama or dada.
I really wouldn't worry

@lilroo87 thank you for replying! I just start to over think everything haha
yeah you’re totally right about then doing it in their own time too, thank you!

It's so easy to overthink and compare them to other kids. Especially when everyone else's kids seem to be doing things sooner than your own but they're all individual and will get there in their own time.
I was convinced my DD wasn't going to crawl or roll (she didn't properly roll until she was 8 months and even then it wasn't often now she rolls all the time)

My baby did nothing at all until she was about 14/15 months. No gestures and hardly any smiling. I was so worries! She’s now nearly 2 and can do all the actions to every song and can speak/meeting all milestones. Try to to worry xxxx

Tbh I think they all just concentrate on certain things over others. When mine turned 10 months she could clap, wave and point but couldn't even crawl properly let alone cruise or take any steps! She mostly just sat there and I worried but she is catching up now - they just do whatever they want in their own time! I think its much too early to worry just enjoy your baby she sounds just fine😀

Everyone always says it but all babies are different. My boy could clap and wave on demand at 7/8 months but here we are at one year old and he's no we're near walking. Learned to crawl just a month ago.

It's easy to become fixated on something like this and fall down a Google black hole but every child develops differently - I have twins and it's fascinating how developmentally they couldn't be more different when they are being raised exactly the same. One cruised and walked from 10 months, the other 18 months. One twin is much more advanced speech wise than the other, one smiles and laughs from 10 months the other rarely so and is generally just a lot grumpier 😂

The babies in the groups I go to who are all gesturing etc either can't crawl or stand yet at 9 months. My 9 month old can't point or clap etc but he's cruising around and moving everywhere fast. I think they just focus on the skills they're interested in and the rest come in time.

Most of the boys seem to be very physically capable but oblivious to the social aspects and all the girls are slower to get moving but engage in pointing, clapping, smiling at songs, and peek-a-boo games. The boys can barely crack a smile at you because they're off at full pelt.
