If you had your time again, would you have more than 2?

I had two quite close together who are 2 and 4, and always wanted 3. Though I feel like it’s so much more of decision with the third, as it feels bit unnecessary, and also have the knowledge of how hard baby and toddler years are. Because of having two close together was so hard and took the joy out of it a bit, I would wait a bit till older two have 30 hours free childcare. I didn’t want too much of an age gap though. Still feel like it’s a heart over head decision though, as financially it makes sense to stop at two, I also have a boy and girl, but something in me wanted more children but not too many.doubt I’d want a fourth.

i wanted to see if those who had that third kid think it was the best decision, obviously no one regrets a child, but if you were reincarnated, would you stick with two?

Similar to you. Then got pregnant again, unplanned. Had three under three.

It nearly killed us the first 3 years, I can't lie. Literally.

But... they are the best of friends now, and there's always one for the other to play with. Loud, fun house, and minimal us having to occupy them!

Wouldn't have it any other way.

I had three under four, and no regrets.

I'd have liked a fourth, but I'm glad I didn't as I think it would've broken me!

Had we been younger when we started, we'd have liked to have another two once our first two DC were both in school. As it turns out, we could have afforded it without too much difficulty, but was 37 when our second was born so would have been 42 when trying for a third. We decided to count our blessings and enjoy the DS and DD we had.

Hell no
Both autistic. Now mid-late teens. It doesn't get much easier when they're not small and cute any more.

No.
And to be perfectly honest if I had my time again I'd have had one child, not two, and never three!

BiscoffSundae · 26/06/2022 00:32

Definitely not, wouldn’t have had more than one tbh

If I had my time again I’d have the third I wasn’t allowed by DH.

We had 3 under 3 followed by 4 under 5.5. It was much much harder with the 3 babies close together than it is now with 4, as the first 3 are that bit older now. I’m really enjoying having 4 and considering no.5…!
