Toddler tilting head when walking

My little girl is 21months. She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 7months and was in a cast and brace for around 8months altogether. We now have the all clear and her hip has now fully healed.

Due to the hip dysplasia she’s only started walking in the last 6weeks. She never sits down! But I have noticed she tilts her head to one side like rests it on her shoulder. Not all the time but enough to make me notice it throughout the day although when we are outside at the park and she’s distracted she doesn’t really do it.

Is this something I should be concerned about and make a gp appointment or is it just a wee phase while she’s getting on her feet?

iv also noticed she literally can’t stand still. Her legs just move constantly even if she’s in the one position. She’s also still very clumsy and falls a lot but I’m assuming this will get better with time.

Just looking for any friendly advice :) thanks.

Is she hypermobile? It can make you very tired and fidgeting help keep the pain "moving" from one area to another. Standing still is pure torture for anyone who has Hypermobility. It makes you clumsy too as you are never quite sure where your limbs are. When going through doorways I always crash into the door frame as my body doesn't do what I want it to. Hence arm bruises. Lots of falling over too. It also could be Dyspraxia, as that can make you clumsy. You could ask the GP for a referral to the Paediatric Physio, they are really good. Try lots of swimming but not too much breast stroke if she's had hip issues. Try not to worry, sometimes they just grow too fast for their spatial awareness to catch up iyswim! Good luck.

Sorry, I'm tired and just realised she's only a tiny person, so obviously she won't be swimming different strokes! Water is good tho and will be the best exercise for her.
