First aid kits?

Does anyone have a first aid kit bought from boots for example and are they worth keeping in the back of your car for babies or toddlers? I'm due my first in a couple of months and not sure if it's worth just keeping something similar ?

I keep a small stash of wound cleaning wipes and plasters in my bag for playground falls etc. but that’s only for once they get mobile. Calpol sachets I’d maybe include if baby is teething. If anything more serious than that was wrong then I’d head home.

I also carry plasters, antiseptic wipes, capol sachet. Although after a recent experience I may add a sling.

I have a car first aid kit with all sorts of plasters, dressings, bandages, foil blanket etc....... I have used it a lot! I added to it with savlon and paracetamol etc..... that you won't find in a normal first aid kit.

I also take plasters in my bag at all times.

Not really necessary for a baby tbh- maybe sachets of calpol at a push. Once mobile, add in an arnica stick for bruises, a few plasters and antiseptic wipes… never needed much more than that tbh- always have some adult painkillers and hay fever tablets too.

I actually bought a first aid kit from Boots, and I think it’s a great starting point! It has all the basics like bandages, antiseptic wipes, and plasters, which can definitely come in handy during a trip. For babies and toddlers, you might want to check if it includes specific items, like baby-friendly pain relief or a thermometer, just to be extra prepared.

I’ve got a kit from Boots, and I think it's definitely worth having in the car, especially with little ones around. When my nephew was little, he had a random fall while we were out, and it was great having some basics on hand like antiseptic wipes and bandages. I also checked out Unity Medical Supplies for more options, and they have some solid kits if you're looking for something more specialized for kids. Here’s the link I found: www.unitymedicalsupplies.com/wound-care/first-aid-kits/. You never know when you’ll need something quick, even if it’s just a tiny scrape or a bug bite!
