Constipation in babies

My DD is 8 months and seems to be constipated. She has soiled her nappies 3 times today but every time it's just a tiny bit. Her stomach is quite hard to touch and her bottom is red raw. Just looking for some tips and tricks to relieve constipation at home as our drs isn't open until Monday. TIA

Buy prunes to eat, Ella’s have a pouch which is super useful.
also add some prune juice to some water and that will help her out too.

As above

Give her water to drink, that is usually all it is with my little one. And some cream when you change her, anything will work, sudocrem, bepanthen etc. I like Weleda.

Prunes!
Also cooled boiled water used to do the trick aswell

If you can keep her nappy off for an hour or so (prior to prunes haha) to let some air get to her bum. It does help.

Pears are great too x

Yeah we try to give her a lot of time out of her nappy during the day to prevent nappy rash. Her bum is looking much better today thankfully!

Water. Lie her down and cycle her legs. Stroke her belly. A warm bath.

...if it's been prescribed by a doctor then it's not suitable for use without medical supervision, surely?
