Is it silent reflux?

Hello everyone, today I made a thread about my newborn and someone said it might be reflux and after researching online there is a chance it might be reflux. My baby has a blocked nose since she was born thats why she sleeps mouth open. She was always wanting to breastfeed for longer times but since a week it has gotten much longer. Today she has only slept about 8 hours. The rest she has been breastfeeding. She is awake and only wants to feed but in the evenings she seems like to be in pain when breastfeeding she literally fights with my breast and cries but actually wants to carry on feeding. Nearly every time I put her down on her back for nappy change she cries so much. When she falls asleep on my breast I leave her on me for a long time for her to fall asleep 100% but when I put her down she wakes up. I am not sure if this is reflux but she doesnt vomit so maybe silent reflux? She has got hiccups once or twice a day. She sneezes once or twice s day too but I am not sure if this is relevant to acid reflux. I have taken her to a&e and to gp but they havent said anything. I am giving her colief and infacol because I thought she has got trapped wind, which the hospital thought as well. But I am not sure if it might be acid reflux as she is also feeding for hours? I dont want to see her in pain and just want to know why shes like this😞😞

Signs of silent reflux...

Being miserable laid flat
Crying and screaming on the breast
Arching back ,& drawing legs up on the breast
Poor weight gain

Constant feeding (IE cluster feeding) can also be a sign, but that's also very normal for a tiny baby. Waking up as soon as they're put down is also very normal.

Regardless of whether or not your baby has silent reflux, you need a sling! Holds baby close to you, and upright, so they get the comfort they need to sleep, and relief from reflux if they have it.
