Colief or infacol?

Hello everyone, my baby is 25 days old. She had problems at first with gas so we started giving infacol and she was very gassy after that so she was farting a lot and felt more relieved but sometimes she was still uncomfortable so someone recommended colief. Since Monday evening we stopped infacol and started using colief drops. But tonight my baby was so different she didnt wanna sleep she wanted to stay on my breast for hours and woke up every 1-2 hours. She seems very uncomfortable and is pooing much less and farting much less. She cries sometimes when on the breast and pulls her legs up. I am not sure if its because we stopped using infacol or if the colief drops arent helping. Is it too early for the colief drops? Because I am not sure if I should wait for them to work or if I should go back using infacol. I am so confused :(

Can you not use both?
Colief breaks down lactose in the milk and infacol is supposed to help with wind. As they do different jobs they should be OK to use together

You can use both, neither worked for us, our baby had colic and screamed for the first 3 months. In the end we just had to ride it out, he’s an absolute dream now since 4 months x

I don't have anything experience of colief, and found infacol ok but not amazing.. however I would recommend Woodward's gripe water. From memory I think it's for use from 1mo+ but your LO isn't far off. My mum used it with us as babies, and then so did my sisters with my nieces and nephews. The box says to give something like a 5ml syringe which made our LO projectile vomit the first time, when I told my mum she said she just used to dip our dummies or teats in it.. I was breastfeeding so just gave little bits here and there in a syringe and it was the only thing that really helped. I hope you find something that helps whatever it is, as I know how sorry you feel to see them in so much discomfort!

I used infacol and would regularly lie him on his back and cycle his legs. That seemed to help.

Stick with it - it might just need more time.

Sounds like cluster feeding and infant dyschezia (normal developmental stage where they try to poo but close their anus muscles at the same time).
