Is milk in the morning and at bed time enough for my one year old?

She takes about 250mls at each feed and has porridge, yoghurts and cheese in the day too. Her lunch time milk just sort of stopped naturally really a couple of months ago. I was completely happy with all of this until I noticed that babies her age and up to and beyond 15 months are still having a lunch time/afternoon bottle. Is my poor DD being short changed??

If she is eating a varied and healthy diet she will be fine I had 2 milkaholics and 2 milk rejecters who gave up milk from boob or bottle around 11 months!

Yes that is enough - as long as she is getting enough calcium. Make sure you give her full fat milk. She seems to be having plenty of other as well. My boys 3 and 18mnths still have milk in the afternoons - normally when I have a cup of tes, but I don't think it's necessary.

DD1 has been having milk twice a day since about 10 months, plus yoghurts cheese etc. GP said it was fine when I asked about it.

from 1 year the recommended minimum is 350mls (approx 12oz) which includes milk with cereal, dairy products, milk in food, etc. My ds also only had 2 milk feeds from 10/11 months but as he took cheese, yoghurts, etc plus milk on cereal I have never worried about his intake.

p.s. both my ds's milk feeds are from a lidded beaker and have been since 10 1/2 months.
