Baby is allergic to nappies

Hello, this is my first time posting, although I have been a member for years.

We got on well using cloth nappies for my first daughter, but we are now struggling with our second. She has very sensitive skin that is prone to eczema, and seems to react to everything, but most importantly the elastic of the nappy wraps. She gets really sore excoriated areas at the top of her thighs. Although we think it is probably an allergy, it could just be friction, as she didn't have this issue for the first couple of months.
We have taken her out of cloth nappies, but she also seems to react to disposables. The only brands we have found that she can manage are co-op and the Tesco 'Rascal and friends' premium range.
We are keen to get her back into cloth nappies, as we really don't need the extra expense of disposables and of course environmental reasons etc. But I don't want her to be sore!

Has anyone had this problem and found a way around it? Are there any particular brands of wraps that anyone would recommend? (We have little lamb and motherese currently)

Thank you in advance!

You could try a pull up version of a water proof outer for the cloth nappies.

some people use a knitted outer that lets the nappy air dry while in use. Look on the green parenting sites.
Or Etsy.

However DGD had marks on her thighs until she was toilet trained. She reacted to everything, especially Tesco own brand.

My DC both had this at times, I think it's due to teething wee! You could look into baby pottying to give her skin a break.

are you in any nappy wash groups?
It may be your washing routine rather than the actual nappy.

If she's reacting to the elastic, mght she have a latex allergy?

I would send The Nappy Lady an e-mail - she knows her stock well and would have suggestions. Wool wraps might work.
