Hi, my baby is almost 8 months old, I've noticed something interesting about her and wanted to ask if any other mom has experienced this.
We were out at a play group, and there was this transparent ball with small soft spikes, and my baby freaked out when she saw it. And another day, I wanted to let her have some sensory play at home, so I poured dry rice in a big bucket and show it to her and she got scared. Then I remembered once I put a lot of small bath toys in her little bathtub and she cried... I'm wondering if she's scared when she sees/feels things that are clustered in bunch. And this leads me to think if that's also why she's not progressing well with solid food too because maybe she's highly sensitive to textures.
Is this a thing for some babies? And if so, how could I help her to overcome/feel easy? We're going for a beach vacation next month, and I have a feeling that she'll hate the sand!
