MMR, is 4 injections normal?

Hi all,
My 1 year old DC had their 1st MMR vaccination and was given 4 injections, 2 in each thigh. I've just read on the NHS website it should only be 1 injection. Has anyone else experienced this or know why this might be the case?

Did they just have MMR or did they have the 12 month vaccinations?

1 for the MMR and the other 3 are for different things. Did the nurse not explain it?

It’s not just MMR. One jab was, the other 3 are other stuff. Men C is one of them & possibly the second Men B.. I can’t quite remember!

I was told by the health visitor last week it's 4 for 1 year jabs, 2 in each thigh.

All the vaccinations given should be recorded in your red book. That should also tell you what they are due when.

The nurse should have gone through it all with you - I was always asked to check the actual vaccine and its use-by date before they were given to my children.
