With 2 children under 4 I accept getting out of the door can be hard but it's made harder with the resistance I get from the children in terms of getting dressed!

To be short - my son age 3 loves his PJ's and resists getting dressed and repeats over, like 50 times, I want my trackies or I want my spiderman t-shirt etc etc.

So, do I....

  1. say tough, you're wearing this - only to have him have a fit and repeat a further 50 times what he wants to wear
  1. Take him to pre-school / town in his PJ's and see if he feels ashamed
  1. Try to compromise (which is what I do) and take trackies / PJ's in his bag to change into later if he wants
  1. Stay home - always!
  1. Have the battle (see point 3.) knowing it will be over in a few month
  1. ditto the above with my 22 month old daughter who won't wear tights and seems to decide what shoes / coat she will / won't wear
  1. How do I distratct him when out and he suddendly decides he wants his super hero t-shirt and won't stop going on?!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW - please don't tell me not to be ruled by a 3 yr old / 22 month old - they are fab kids and they don't rule me - they are just a challenge at times!

Advice please
