5 month old bloody poo includes pictures

My 5 month old breastfed baby has had occasional bloody poos since the start of the year. I've been to the doctors numerous times, I've cut out dairy and soya and whilst this has made the bloody poos less regular she still had one on the 11th of March and then another yesterday and now she had just done another. The doctor told me not to stop breastfeeding as she isn't in any discomfort and is growing well. Generally she feeds every hour for 10 mins, she has always done this. I'm not sure if it's an oversupply issue? I've attached pictures of the three from this month. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this as it just makes me panic everytime I see it Sad

Also just to add she is on the NHS vitamin drops, I heard somewhere this can cause them?

That looks like milk allergy to me. Four of my children had it and started like this. I breastfed too and ended up giving up milk myself!

As it was with the free from stuff and she told me she had checked it, I know it's my bad for not making sure.

My son's looked like that too. He had CMPA but was also allergic to soy and oat. If you've cut out dairy what have you replaced it with? Could it be that that is still causing problems?

I had the chocolate bar on the 20th is it likely to be that then? Also is she feeding too much for her age or is this okay?

If she has an treated allergy this can cause them to feed more often. It’s unlikely to be chocolate bar from. Have you removed all milk from your diet ie check all labels carefully and informing the kitchen when eating out? 50% of babies with cmpa are also allergic to soya so It could be that too. Are your baby’s poo always full of mucus?

Yes 100% have removed it all other than the chocolate bar I accidentally had, I check everything. Her poo's aren't normally mucasy it's just the ones that have had blood in. I have no dairy or soya.

If this is just a one off compared to recent weeks?

I don't have any words of wisdom, but I had the exact same happen with my baby at around 4-5 months. She was ebf, but had really mucousy poos and 2-3 occasions of blood in them, she was also always squirmy and uncomfortable. I cut out all dairy and never saw blood again but the stools continued to be mucousy. The squirminess also got much better, but maybe this is a coincidence as apparently babies are often very squirmy and fussy at the nipple at 4-5 months anyway.

However she is now 9 months and since weaning at 6 months I slowly started giving her dairy... And she's been totally fine, in fact her favourite foods are anything yoghurt or cheese related! Her poos are normal for a baby on solids. Seems very strange to have outgrown an intolerance that quickly. Not sure what I'm trying to say really, basically it's all a bit of a mystery still and there's no guarantee that it is dairy I guess.
