DS fussy FF after 8 week jabs

My DS had his 8 week jabs Thursday afternoon. Never really suffered with a temp but was definitely sleepy for the first 36 hours. Last night was a different story as he's been up since 2am but I'll survive.

My issue is his feeding. He's been FF 4-5oz sometimes 6oz once or twice a day before jabs, and was consistently 3-4 hours. Since the jabs he just doesn't want to feed, but can't work out why. He's passing wind and stools as he usually does but seems to be griping a bit. He will take 2oz straight away, but the rest of his feed is a total battle and can take 2 hours, by then it's almost time to do it all over again, but sometimes I just abandon the efforts if he really shows he doesn't want it.

Does anyone have advice on how long this will last or should I be calling the HV tomorrow? It's now 3 days since his jabs and I just don't know what to do with him.

It never hurts to get in touch with the HV if you are concerned. From experience, it took DS to around a week to fully get over his jabs. Feeding & sleep was very disturbed for a good few days. I appreciate kids are very different but it sounds quite normal to me.

Hope your DS is back to his normal self in no time!

Oh great thank you! This is my first so I think I was expecting it to only last 24 hours but I've seen a few posts now where they've taken days and weeks to get back to normal, so that's reassuring me 😊
