2 Month old teething!!

My little one has been showing signs however I wasn't sure babies could start teething this young!

From 6weeks she has had a red flushed left cheek, is drooling ridiculously, sticking her tongue out down by her gums and chews on her hands.

At her 6-8 week check up the doctor refused when I suggested she was teething but I can't take their advice when it's continuing.

Is there anything anyone can recommend so I can help her?

My baby was teething from that age but no tooth until 6 months, I read it can be from 6 weeks

My baby looked like he was teething from about 6 weeks - always dribbling, always chewing.
He didn’t get his first tooth until he was 11 months. I’m afraid some babies are just dribbly and chewy.

I’m not sure what you mean by help her - does she seem in pain? There’s not much you can do except constantly changing dribble soaked bibs.

Also matchstick monkey or Sophie the giraffe are nice teething toys.

It’s possible but it is also pretty normal for them to be really dribbly and find their hands at that age. Mine all did and two of the three still had no teeth on by their first birthday.
You don’t mention her seeming to be in pain so I’m not sure what ideas you are needing. Sophie the giraffe toys are good for them when they are into chewing.

This is my first baby so I had no idea teething could start so early!

My son cut his first two at 4 months, had 6 teeth by 6 months, so totally possible!

She does start crying whilst she's in a deep sleep and immediately puts her hands in her mouth, her gums look really inflamed so I'm assuming the crying is for either pain or irritability!

Usual teething toys suggest from 3 months up and I wouldn't want to make a habit of using calpol every day, I just wanted ideas of how to soothe her :)

Maybe! As I said below she does has periods of irritability and cry's with her hands in her mouth so I assumed it would be hurting. I've had a doctor say she can't be teething so I would be reassured by hearing other parents similar experiences x

I have seen the giraffe teether so I will look at getting one :)

My ds had this teether from Bright Starts. Don't think it's available any more but Nuby do similar. He much preferred it over Sophie la Girafe.
