Hello!

I am looking into pushchairs, carrycots etc and am wondering exactly what "occasional overnight sleeping" means?

Also who sets the regulations/guidelines for this?

Thanks

I think it’s for if you stay at your mums and don’t want to use a travel cot or whatever, baby can sleep in the bassinet of the pram.

I don’t know about guidelines. I remember doing it once. They don’t really sleep all night ime so it didn’t feel risky in any way, I was taking them out for feeds every couple hrs.

To us it meant we could take it on short holidays and visits to the in-laws without having to bring a separate cot. It worked well for us but dd was not a huge baby, I could see others might not find it as useful.

It’s normally due to increased air flow.

We had a lie flat pram top and used it at my mums and on a holiday until she was too big for it.
