Should I take baby swimming lessons with congestion / cough?

Baby has been getting over a cold over the last week and has a swimming lesson this afternoon. He has no temp but still seems congested and has a mild cough. Would you still take your LO? We missed last weeks lesson due to illness so don’t really want to miss another but obviously baby’s health is more important! Just torn with what to do this morning!

Babies get cold in water so quickly, I’d let him recover and go next week. I did baby swimming with my first but not my other two and there is genuinely zero difference in their swimming ability. Although it’s a nice thing to do I wouldn’t worry about “falling behind”

No they won't be comfortable at all will they? You don't want to put them off!

We did baby swimming with child 1 and then realised how little we actually went. I think its a bit of a con when you pay a large free for 8 sessions for example but you get sucked into it. !What worked instead was going to "pay as you go" just toddler sessions in the local pool, much much better and freedom to play and have fun worked quite well!

I would skip the lesson. Probably for ever.

Tbh if we skipped lessons every time DS had a cold or cough we’d have missed the last few months!! If it’s mild I would still go
