How much did your 6-7 month old move around?

DD is 6.5 months and is pretty stationary. She can roll front to back but doesn't do it often and has never rolled back to front. When lying on her tummy she sort of kicks her legs and moves her arms as if swimming but doesnt go anywhere. She sits unaided and is pretty content just staying still playing with her feet or toys.

My pal has just sent me a few videos of her DD who was born only 2 days before her and OMG. She rolls all over the room and can bum shuffle herself a good few meters!

I googled and found that by 7 months she should be able to get around a bit so I'm panicking somewhat.

Has anyone else had a late mover and it's been fine or should I contact the HV?

My son as a baby pretty much just watched the world go by for absolutely ages. Very chilled and stationary. Didn't walk until 18 months, you get the idea.

We picked him up from pre-school today and he legged it straight out of the door and ran towards the gate pretending to be a bird! He literally never stops being active and as I'm ready to pop with his younger sibling I find it exhausting! He loves his balance bike and I'm forever calling after him to slow down as I struggle to keep up.

All babies are different op, relax and enjoy. Smile

A lot. He pulled himself out and almost over his next to me cot at 4 months. Bloody lethal. Walked before 9 months.

He’s 22 months now. Wild child movement wise. Climbs out of cot, over stair gates, uk kitchen cabinet handles onto side, onto dining table and leaps off!.
But he doesn’t talk much at all yet, and is super impatient.
