Baby carrier

Does anyone have any recommendations for baby carriers for those with large boobs? So far have tried Bjorn and Boppy comfyfit and neither of them had enough room for baby to sit in Sad don’t feel confident with wraps which is why I was looking for a carrier and want to do a fair bit of train travel.

Hi op - sorry don't know how to link... This was the fourth one I tried (i don't remember all the other brands apart from a Funki Monkey 'wrap' which was comfy but quite a faff to put on) I get most stuff on ebay BNIB so only paid £20 for this & it's been the easiest to use & most comfy... Baby (grandson) is 20lbs now & I use it forward-facing...

Izmi soft buckle carrier is great.

I have 36 FF boobs and use the ergo omni. It's great!

Ergo 360

Mamma37463 · 01/03/2022 06:33

I liked the Izmi which packs very small as well as Beco and Ergo which are padded and very supportive. Can you try a local sling library or one online? That way you can try a few carriers to figure out what you like.

Mamma37463 · 01/03/2022 06:34

Connecta also packs small and I liked it up to 2yo.

I’m wearing 32H at the moment but spilling out of it so actually not sure what size I am but I have a integra carrier and I love it, never feels like there isn’t space. I second the suggestion for a sling library though…the one near me does online consultations and also posts slings/carriers for hire anywhere in uk.

Sling library, honestly is amazing to help you make a decision. I was a 38H after Ds2 and the sling library helped me choose a Mei Tai wrap I then moved onto an Ergo more structured sling and used that until Ds2 was almost 3!

I got on well with the Connecta at first and then the Tula as babies got bigger I wanted to back carry. My local sling library was invaluable as I got to try some. For a week or two before making a decision to buy my own.

afinethingindeed · 01/03/2022 06:49

I would definitely recommend a sling library.
I visited one and found the Beco Gemini was perfect for me, I'm a 34H.

Ergo 360!

Thankyou all for your recommendations Smile

I’m a 38J so pretty big bust, I’ve had a look for sling libraries but can’t see that one currently operates near me? I found a Facebook page but no posts since 2019

koalaslings.co.uk/collections/sling-library

slumber-roo.co.uk/hire

Here are a couple of online hire shops in the UK. Many sling libraries also do UK-wide postal hire too, usually for a 2 week period. I've used both of the links above with no trouble at all if that's any help.

Which bjorn did you use? We have the Air one and find it spacious. 34 G here.

Just in case anybody is reading this with the same problem, got a beco Gemini and it’s great 😁 especially since you can carry on your hip
