Hi everyone, I really need help basically when my baby was 6 weeks old I accidentally dropped my phone on her head, she was sleeping then so she cried and I comferted her as much as I can, she slept after like 10 mins, and she was normal when she woke up after that.
Recently as my baby is 9 weeks I felt there is a dent in her head and because she got thick hair you can't see it, so I couldn't see it when the incident happened, am really worried is that dent will be permanent or no what should I do been crying all the time since I found it.

Whereabouts is the dent that you can feel. I'd guess it's the fontanelle.
It's totally normal as a new mum to panic and worry about these things but unless you dropped the phone from the top of the Eiffel Tower, it's super unlikely to have done any damage!! And unless your baby is a superhero they would probably have kicked up more of a fuss if you'd genuinely dented their skull.
Ask any mum. We've all had daft clumsy accidents.

That'll probably be her skull don't panic, there is more than one fontenelle but also if I rub above my own ear it dents in?

Babies' skulls are made up of several bone plates which shift and move around to allow them through the birth canal, it's completely normal for you to be able to feel the ridges between them, and not damage you have caused.

Dropping a phone would have been slightly painful but would not cause serious damage, maybe a bruise, possibly not even that. Also, if her skull had been fractured her head would have swelled up and she would have been crying a lot and constantly. The fact you could comfort her immediately after the accident shows that it was only a minor one.

I've dropped a phone on all three of my kids' faces Blush and a hanging hard toy fell down on DS1 and coincided with where he has a visible vein on his cheek. I thought it was a permanent bruise for months and felt terrible!

Don't worry, these things happen, they are rarely catastrophic. You will bump her head on a door frame or the opening of the car door or she'll roll off the bed/sofa before too long and you'll feel terrible then too! Tis the curse of the baby-parent.
