Daughter sickness and diarrhoea. Help?

So I'm a first time mum. Daughter is 17 months

She has her first sickness bug and I need some practical suggestions and advice

Do I feed her if she asks? I've given her some toast this morning such she is eating. And she's not really drinking so I gave her an ice lolly.
She also has really bad nappy rash. What can I use? I usually use sudocrem with every change anyway but this isn't touching it
This might seem strange but she threw up in her cot and I didn't realise straight away as I was putting another wash load on. She has very curly hair and the sick is matted in her hair. How do I get this out?. Me. And my husband have as straight hair as it comes.

Sorry I'm a first time mum and dealt with cold after cold but this is new

I would give her food if she wants it and try to get her to sip on drinks.

I guess you need to wash her hair if it full of sick?

We found sudocream wasn't great for bad nappy rash and that Metanium is the best (yellow tube - v strong smelling but works amazingly)

I washed her hair this morning but it's all matted in her curls. 😩

Do they sell metanium in supermarkets or is it a pharmacy job?

Ice lollies good for getting sugar in them when they are ill liquids little sips often.

For hair, loads of conditioner and comb through starting with wide toothed comb and going onto a thinner tooth as you get tangled out. It's a good method for curly hair all the time too

Thank you. Sorry I know it seems stupid I'm asking. She had no hair for the first year of her life and now she's got these masses of curls. I don't know where she got them from!

Sorry she's poorly! Just replying for the curly hair point - you should still be detangling her hair when it's wet and you wash it, so not sure how its still matted in her curls after a wash. You should be able to run a comb through easily after a wash which would get the sick out. If you can't, it's knotted and need a serious detangle!

We usually use detangle spray after a bath and comb her hair, she was sick in the cot and I didn't notice straight away. I figured cos she was quiet she was fine and it has been a very long night. She had been sick and rolled onto it, I probably didn't wash her hair as well as I should. It was early hours and she was less than impressed at early water time

I've got a bath running and husband off to Tesco for curly hair conditioner and metanium. I honestly know nothing about curly hair and I'm learning,

I appreciate your advice, Smile

Metanium is fabulous. I couldn't use wipes on DS because he'd come out in an awful rash. I used warm water and cotton wool then made sure he was completely dry (used to carry a face cloth around for this purpose) then put the Metanium on, a tiny dot goes a long way.

He's 13 now and I still keep a tube in the bathroom cupboard, it's been ace for sore underboobs etc.
