Aldi Eco Nappies - Being Discontinued - Other Suggestions

Hi, I have just been made aware (at my local Aldi) that they are discontinuing the Eco range of nappies that they brought out last year.

I was hoping for some other suggestions of bleach/chlorine free eco nappies that others have got on well with?

I haven't tried rascal and friends, but I did with DD1 and they didn't suit her but will grab some next time I'm in Tesco to see is they suit DD3.

Thanks

They can't rot in landfill conditions so you might as well buy pampers or use cloth.

Cloth nappies

Try reusables - if there's a local nappy laundry service it often works out similar in price to disposables, if you buy them it's cheaper and you can sell on in the future

I currently can't afford the outlay for cloth and previous attempts with other children I still needed to use disposables overnight as baby sleeps 12+ hours and would wake up soaking. (they're all front sleepers too)

The reason for using the chemical free ones was due to skin issues, so the helpful comment of 'you might as well buy pampers' doesn't apply. Thanks

Hi, I didn't even know Aldi did Eco nappies until I happened to see them in a store where my sister lives last week!! Hmm.

I was gifted some Eco Naty and some kit and kin nappies from friends and I have found these to be much nicer, albeit still spill out if my baby has done a rather large poop or pee. I discovered boots little stories bamboo nappies a few weeks ago they are £5.50 each regardless of size which are the second cheapest to the Aldi ones.

So I guess your best bet is if you can afford it, either use cloth nappies ( I noticed they are selling some Mio ones in Aldi at the moment) or pay a little more extra for either Eco Naty or kit and kin, beaming baby or even cheeky panda.

Whilst I haven't noticed any reactions on my baby to normal disposable nappies yet, but I feel the eco nappies (aside from helping the planet a little more) are much kinder to baby's skin.

It's a shame Aldi have discontinued the Eco ones ( although slightly concerned as to why) I thought I was onto a winner at that price!

I hope you find something just as good, please share if you do.
