My son still wakes every night for milk in a bottle. But the past few weeks its got worse and can be 3/4 times a night. I know he shouldnt even be using a bottle now but he wont drink from anything else. Ive tried multiple times to just get rid and he literally doesnt drink anything all day and just screams. He has suspected ASD and is very attached to bottle. But this night time waking is just too much he turns 2 later this month and has never slept through. Ive tried be strict with routine. Ive tried leaving him to cry i am at my witts end now. Any advice would be really appreciated. He has a twin sister and he is ruining her routine by waking her all night she is not starting wanting the milk again. help!

Let them have the bottle
It's fine
Or switch to a toddler one see if hell take that

@mintfullness to be honest its more that we have gone from waking once for it to waking 4 times a night i feel like im back with a new born. I initially thought it was a phase but he isnt growing out of it. I feel if i left him to just cry he would cry all night feels like it doesnt stop so i give in and now its so much worse i dont know how to stop him from wanting it all night x

Have you tried just giving him water in the bottle?

Have you tried watering it down? But if you suspect asd you should imo leave a bottle for him.

Try replacing the milk with water or at least watered down milk- so he is not used to getting calories in the night

Are his molars starting to come through? That might be causing him pain and waking him. Maybe try a dose of pain relief medicine?

Try watering down the milk gradually or reducing the volume gradually so he's not taking in so much overnight. Offer water more often during the day.
