Children's party question

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but looking for some advice on a party as it's my first time doing this.

I've booked a hall for my daughters party and the entertainers I want to book (Elsa and Anna) come and do things with the children for 45 mins.

The party is 11-1, when is the best time to have them come and should I hire something else like a bouncy castle or soft play to keep the kids busy when the princesses aren't there?

Thanks in advance!

Have them come at 11.15. Then, when they've gone, have the food.
Then you have 30mins -ish to keep them entertained at the end with a few games.

How old are they? What do the entertainers do? At the moment you have 45 mins filled and then say 30 mins for food, singing happy birthday and going home. What is your plan for the other 45 mins?

Depending on age of children (if you've not done it before I'm guessing they're fairly young) I'd be inclined to make it a 90-minute party rather than two hours. Put on music with action songs from 11:00-11:15, book Anna and Else from 11:15-12:00, have food from 12:00-12:30. If food doesn't stretch to the full half hour, have a game of pass the parcel or Sleeping Lions at the end.

What age are they

But if 11-1 I would book to come 1115/12

Lunch 12 ish fir 30 mins and cake

Then few games pass the parcel dancing etc till 1

What age are they?

If they are having nap around midday normally as most nurseries do, then wouldn't a party around 10-11.30am would be more appropriate? Or 3.30-5pm?

Never had one or have been to one but this is what I would be thinking as a constraint....

Thanks for the help! The children are 4 so not napping anymore. I booked the hour package from 11.15-12.15 and will do good and cake and maybe an extra game or craft table for the last 45 mins

I would just blow up a load of balloons and let them run off steam for the last bit and do pass the parcel. Craft table sounds like a messy nightmare and they probably won't want to focus on it anyway,

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/02/2022 11:37

A simple cheap activity as long as no allergies is to ice a biscuit and they put sprinkles on and eat it

Knittedfairies · 03/02/2022 12:28

I wouldn't bother with a craft table either; far too much hassle for 45 minutes - it could take you longer than that to clear it all up afterwards. A few tried and tested party games would be easier.
