Yes, it's quite a normal response. Can't remember if either of mine had a fever, but it's usual to be a bit unwell afterwards.

Is 12 month the MMR? If so my DD developed the measles-like rash quite badly all over her back. 111 advised us to give child Piriton which worked brilliantly.

Yes about a day. They had 4 jabs I think it was in one go and about a week/a week and a half later they got a little rash but id been prewarned

Whilst it's never nice to see your child unwell, the temp, and other symptoms like distress due to aches perhaps, mild (usually) rash, maybe some raised lymph nodes in the neck mean that your baby is responding well to the vaccinations and their body is doing exactly the right thing to create the antibodies needed to protect them. See it as a positive, if possible. Some children have mild symptoms, some robust reactions ( so temp, rash etc.. for longer than 24-48 hours). Keep Calpol, liquid infant Ibuprofen and liquid Piriton ( antihistamine) in stock.
Nb. Combination of Calpol and Ibuprofen is magic if your LO is really miserable.
Hope that helps
