Covid safety on party invitation?

Planning a birthday party for my primary school aged son - the first proper party we've done.
Is it overkill to include info on the invitation re: Covid safety, e.g. to reassure people it's a small gathering, mainly outdoors, separate lunchboxes etc? I'm not sure if this is too much info or helpful for parents.

@Mischance

I think that would be helpful and reassuring. Also, asking for negative LFTs would also be entirely reasonable.
Please don’t do any of this. Let your kid have a normal party.

Yes overkill. If parents are that worried they will decline.

Separate lunch boxes??? You do know it's a respiratory disease right?

I think it's a great idea, and negative LFTs are too. Kids and parents if they're staying/mingling

I would appreciate seeing your covid guidelines, or a line on what precautions you're taking, on the invitation. But what guidelines are realistic depends on how old the kids are. I wouldn't expect a lot of 4 year olds to test before going (although it's fine to ask that of the adults) and it's hard to stop them sharing food or licking each other. I take it as a success if my son hasn't actively sucked anyone else's nose by the end of a party.

I must say that I wouldn't be too excited about a party in January/February held mostly outdoors! So I'd like to know that so we could decline... I say this as someone with a winter birthday.
