Beat thank you present for nursery key worker?

DS (13 months)) is being 'promoted' to the toddler room at nursery this month and with that he's getting a new key worker.

His current key worker has been wonderful and we'd like to get her a thank you card and present.

Is this even a thing? Am I overstepping by getting her something and no one else? What's the best kind of gift for something like this?

FTM so this is all new to me.

I do a handmade card at most.

We do a homemade thank you and a Starbucks voucher

I’d also do a homemade card and a voucher for the nearest coffee place

Pop a short letter in the card saying why you're particularly grateful, so they can show it to their manager.

I think, it's a lovely idea. Everyone likes to feel appreciated. Maybe a card and chocolates?

I did a handmade card and box of chocs (celebrations/something individually wrapped). I addressed it to 'keyworker, staff member 2 and all of the staff at nursery' (DS was particularly fond of staff member 2) because they all had a role to play.

I think it went down well, the staff member 2 send a message saying thank you and she will miss him lots.

ASOS/JL/ other age appropriate voucher? And some words of gratitude in your card :)

I forgot to update!

Thank you everyone! I ended up writing a card thanking her loads (hopefully something she can show her manager) as well as a Hotel Chocolate box of chocolates.

Though I think his next key worker will need to get a bottle of wine when it's time to be "promoted" to the next room as DS is now full of playful mischief.

I hope she was thrilled.
