What to do for 2 year olds birthday?

It's my daughter's 2nd birthday in April and I want to do something special maybe I'm wrong but I think she's probably a bit too young for a party and is quite shy anyway, can anyone think of good ideas I can do for her birthday around the North West that don't cost a bomb as I'm a single parent and not super rich

monkey-forest.com/ Monkey Forest is great...obviously might be Covid dependent but you can see all these Monkeys that live in the woods freely there. You can also go to the gift shop and visit Trentham Gardens next door which is lovely. All this is in Stoke. Check the website for Trentham gardens too. trentham.co.uk/

I have two that are a similar age - we tend to have a family day out to our local open farm on the day itself and then have the grandparents over for cake on the closest weekend. I'm avoiding full scale parties for as long as possible!

These are great suggestions, I'm going to look at the monkey forest now as she does enjoy being free! Haha

I’m planning a little tea party with family and a couple of close friends with similar aged toddlers (if they’re happy to attend) and a soft play day. A few balloons and a home made cake.

After their first birthday was a total bust due to lockdown, I did want to go all out but realised that can wait until they’re fully aware of what a birthday is!

I'm thinking of taking my son out for the day on his 2nd birthday. We debating cbeebies land but then realised he'd be just as happy going to a park and feeding the ducks lol

Just be extra happy for the day so they know it's special.

Monkey Forrest is great! I’d definitely recommend.
We visited after CBeebies land which my husband didn’t think was that great as our little one was a bit small for a lot of the rides but depending on her height she might be able to go on more.

A farm or country park is great for that age. Take a nice picnic and some cupcakes. A small family party at home too

DD was 2 in December. We just did a little birthday tea with all her favourite foods and a cake. Invited family only.

I had thought about CBeebies land she's been to Gulliver's world and loved the rides but not much point if she can barely get on anything. Gulliver's world was really good for toddlers so much they was able to do.
I think we might go to Eureka! For the day gonna have a proper look and see if it's age appropriate. Thank you for all your suggestions

My children loved Nickelodeon land at two years old, they loved gullivers too but Nickelodeon was a special treat. They also loved the Blackpool Sandcastle, the pirate water play ship and slides are great for two year olds. You could do both with a hotel stop over if funds allow they are across the road from each other.
