Has anyone got the Kinderkraft Juli or Babyjogger Citi Mini GT2?

Currently 18 weeks pregnant and thinking about prams. At the moment what I think I’d like is the Babyjogger, but with the carrycot attachment so the baby can be parent facing for the first 6 months. However the main thing that puts me off is that once the baby is too big for the carrycot it will need to be forward facing, and I’m worried that 6 months is a bit young for that to be the only option. Has anyone used one from that young (or from birth!) and how did you find it? I’m also a bit worried about using it on the bus (apparently it’s massive 😬) but I think I could cope with that.

I’ve also found an excellent value bundle online which includes the Kinderkraft juli. I like the look of this as it has both parent facing and forward facing options, plus the wheels look quite big/robust for dog walking. The reviews on Amazon seem to generally be very good, but given how reasonably priced it is I’m a bit suspicious!

Current thinking is probably to get the bundle, but potentially upgrade to the Babyjogger when the baby is old enough to forward face all the time.

Anyone have any advice to share, or suggestions of other prams? It needs to be something that can cope with rural walks, but it also easy enough to get on and off a bus as I won’t be driving. Budget of about £7-800 but I don’t have an issue with second hand, so I’d be happy to pay that for a pricier second hand one. From a shallow point of view I love the Babyzen Yo-yo but it’s not really very practical for our lifestyle…

We got a GT when my 13 month old was born and I love it. It's really easy to push even with one hand, great on muddy tracks and the one handed fold is so easy to use. I've folded it up and put it in the boot while holding a small baby in the other arm, which I think would be quite hard with a lot of the other prams we looked at that need a couple of things to be done before they fold. Plus it has a handbrake rather than a footbrake, which is really handy when it's covered in mud.

We live rurally and it has been great for just heading out for long walks. The suspension is great, she falls asleep in it really easily and doesn't wake up as we bump along the paths or over bridges. We had a joie i-level car seat that worked really well with it too.

I found the bassinet a godsend in the early days, I could put her in it at 3am and have her beside me in the kitchen when I was prepping a bottle for her. She was really happy in it and always calmed down or fell asleep when we put her in it. She didn't outgrow it until she was 7 months and by then she was trying to sit up and see out all the time so was quite happy to move to the front facing seat. I missed it more than her 😂

It folds down small enough, it takes up half the width of the boot of a honda civic, and we keep it folded in the hall with no issues. I will say that the storage underneath isn't massive and there an awkward bar across so you can't shove a big bag in there.
