I had that after my second Pfizer dose. Saw the dr (about a dodgy mole) and asked while I was there and he said totally normal and would go with time and it did after about a week.

@ILoveMyMonkey thank you Smile

I've had three pfizers. I had very large red lump with my second which lasted ages.

Yes I had a red itchy area next to the injection but not the actual place. Went after a few days.

TashieWoo · 02/01/2022 07:47

I had that after my 3rd Pfizer, was like an insect bite really, plus a few similar bumps surrounding it. No other side effects and it went down after a few days.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 02/01/2022 07:48

Doesn't anyone read the leaflet they are given with the vaccine administration? Most of these posts contain very common side effects which are reassuringly explained in the official guidance you were given. Maybe you don't trust it? I don't know but I would be far more reassured by that.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 02/01/2022 07:50

i had a hot red area after my second pfizer,

@GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat what's the point of being rude? If I wanted to ask if anyone had similar I can. You don't have to reply to a thread if you think it's pointless to even ask I'm sure you have more important things to do. People have also lost there lives due to vaccines just as the vaccines have saved lives, everyone's bodies react differently and because I haven't had the pfizer before i felt it's more reassuring to ask other people if they had instead of looking at a sheet but everyone is different.

Btw thank you everyone else for the responses. I appreciate it.

Thank you all for your comments. I am using my daughters account as I do not have a mumsnet account but I've asked her to keep this question up so if anyone like me has had a vaccine and would like a bit of reassurance of others sharing there experiences like me instead of reading a piece of paper then this is here.

Have a great new year Smile

Apologies if you feel my logic is me being rude, just seems a more sensible place to look than asking randoms on Mumsnet.

CrystalFlower · 02/01/2022 12:01

@GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat well clearly you was being rude. As I said before, it's my choice along with everyone else on mumsnet who choose to ask a question. If you think a thread is silly then I dont know why you waste your time leaving a comment as I personally wouldn't respond to a thread that I personally felt was a waste of time but I guess that's my "logic" also. I will respond to replies to this thread as I opened it so if you have anymore messages then please feel free to continue but me personally I've got nothing more to say.
