Don't think there's much you can do. It will stop, eventually. You're losing the excess hair that you retained during pregnancy

I don't think you can stop it, just put up with it and it will stop after a few months and your hair grows back after a while.

I have long (usually) thick hair and it would come out in handfuls in the shower and I'd have to throw away a big hairball every time.

I changed where I parted my hair for a while to disguise a really receeded hairline on one side. All back to normal after a year or so. It's all part of the fun OP!

Tempted to agree with you both as the skin hair and nails supplements and caffeine shampoo are doing SFA. I was just hoping for a miracle.

I don’t think I retained any excess hair during pregnancy :(

It does stop eventually - then the regrowth starts. 😭

When you're pregnant your hair goes into an extended growing phase and you don't lose as much. You then lose the excess after birth when your hormones change again

It's rubbish but you just have to be patient and it does come back. I think I actually hated the tufty regrowth stage as it was harder to disguise with styling.

vitamin b complex, caffeine shampoo, use a good brush (I like scratchy ones) to massage the scalp as you brush - this stimulates blood flow to the scalp. Castor oil can be good for regrowth although its super sticky. Scalp massage is very helpful.

I lost loads with dd. My hair is fine as it is and I lost loads round the front. Now it's back and thickening it's great. There is nothing to solve it but time.

Carry on taking your prenatal vitamins (or you can buy special postnatal ones I think, some of them may even have special ingredients to help with the hair loss!)

I have really long hair and felt like I was pulling great handfuls out every time I washed it but the vitamins did help a little. I reassured myself that I’d just got used to not losing so much hair during pregnancy and it was just getting back to normal again but that’s not so helpful if you didn’t notice a difference while you were pregnant!

If it helps, 7 months on my hair loss has slowed right down and I would say I lose less than I did before pregnancy so it does sort itself out in the end!
