Covid worry!

Hello!

Just looking for some advice as I have found the websites online overwhelming.

I have unfortunately tested positive for CV19.

My husbands daughter has been down over Xmas, and as soon as she found out I was positive wanted to leave (16yrs old).

Her BM is 31 weeks pregnant so obviously doesn’t want her daughter returning home due to the complications may arise.

She has for the past 3 days done LFTs all have come back negative, so has my husbands and so had our other 2 kids (no symptoms). I have been locked away and not seen them since I noticed my first symptoms.

Problem being, my SD is now going absolutely ape! She is crying uncontrollably demanding she goes home & BM is point blank refusing to allow her in the door. SD saying it’s illegal to keep her here as it’s against the covid laws (she’s technically correct as she doesn’t have to isolate) she’s saying if she stays it’s increasing her chances of catching it.

BM is ranting about her unborn baby (I totally get it) but isn’t doing much to settle SD anxieties.

I’m rotten and so ill, husband is trying his best to keep her in the house, but she’s adamant she’s going back.

What to do?! If she tested positive here, then that means she will be isolating well into her new school term, but if she goes home there is a possibility that she could pass to BM… feeling so stressed and don’t know what to do. She shares a room with my 8yr old daughter and we are trying to keep everyone on their rooms to avoid any contact and she’s just not having it. 😢😢

Send her home! She’s LFT negative and no symptoms - are both mother and SD jabbed?

@BluebellsGreenbells thank you. This is what I said we should be doing, but have been called heartless by BM. I’m really not, I totally get why she would be anxious but by sending SD home we are still within the rules required.
I believe they both are, yes.

@BluebellsGreenbells sorry BM is jabbed. SD isn’t (Nightmare)
