What's your 9 months old schedule?

Hi all, first time mum here. I have a 9 month old DS. Sleep has gone a bit to pot last week or so meaning he's napping late at 7pm(ish) annoyingly then awake til 10:30-11 before he's down for the night. Also, being a little monkey at lunch time all of a sudden.
Just curious to see if I'm part of the majority with our schedule or if I should make a few tweaks.

7:45 approx - wakes up
8:00 - Solids (normally porridge or weetabix)
10:30 - 8oz bottle
10:45-11:30 - Nap 45min
1:30pm - Solids (normally a pouch and a small yoghurt) although last few days doesn't want it.
3:00pm - used to give him 6oz bottle but have stopped it this last week
3:30-4:15pm - Nap 45min
4:30/5pm - Solids (one of my own cooked meals)
6:30pm-7pm - bath & bedtime routine with 8oz bottle
7:30ish - started taking this new nap 🙄
8:30pm - wakes up playful and then won't go down for the night til 10:30/11. Unsettles through the night about 4/5 times (I think a little separation anxiety - normally ends up co-sleeping with me from around 4-8am)

Hey!

My LO is breasted so sometimes his feeding can change but we seem to be falling into this type of pattern.
Routine is
7:00 - Feed
7:30 - wake up
8:30 - Breakfast
9:30/10:00- Feed & Nap
11:00 - awake time
12:00 - lunch
13:00/13:30 - Feed & Nap
14:30 - Awake time
16:30 - Feed & Nap
17:15 - Awake
18:00 - Dinner
18:30 - Bath & bedtime routine
19:00 - Feed to sleep
19:30 - asleep

It's not always like this and he wakes so often throughout the night so I can't help there. But I definitely think this is for comfort!! So you're not alone with that one!

8ish wake up
8.30 breakfast and 6oz bottle
10.30/11ish 45 min nap
12 lunch
2 7oz bottle
3 nap 45 mins
5 tea
6 8oz bottle
Bed anytime between 6.30-8 depending on when she's tired. Sometimes has a small 4oz top up. Sleeps through the night. I have always just gone with what she wants so timings are approx, sometimes she has the 2pm bottle and nap earlier, sometimes later.

10mo but been the same since 9mo

All times “ish”
6:30- wake + 8oz bottle
8- weetabix, fruit
9:30- nap 1.5hrs
12- lunch- sandwich, baby crisps, cucumber etc
1:30- 8oz bottle
2- 1.5hr nap
5:30 dinner- whatever we’re having
6:00 bath
6:30 8oz bottle
In bed by 7

He’s also started having a small snack (digestive, cracker etc) after his naps in the last couple of weeks

My DD is 19 months but at 9 months her routine was:-

6:30: wake and 6oz bottle
8: breakfast
9:30: nap for 1.5 hours
11:30/12: lunch
1:30: 6oz bottle
2:30: nap for 1.5 hours
5: dinner
6:30: bath
7: 6oz bottle
Asleep by 7:30.

His naps seem a little short - do you wake him or does he only nap for 45 minutes?

StickyStickyStickStickSong · 23/12/2021 21:54

@Vicky1989x he's only ever slept for 45 minutes and it's literally to the minute lol
I'm thinking maybe I should bring that 3pm bottle back as everyone seems to be giving their LO's 3 bottles a day as well as solids I just felt he didn't need it, but then again he does have 8oz bottles instead of smaller amounts. I just don't know 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's difficult as FTM isn't it! It seems to be since I ditched that 3pm bottle his wake windows have increased to 4hrs meaning he's started this late nap around 7. All trial and error isn't it 😆

My baby is 8 month old and I couldn't really tell you what his schedule is. I watch the baby, not the clock. He sleeps when he is tired, eats when he is hungry, eats with us if he is awake which could be 2 or 3 times a day. If he can't sleep at night we bring him down for a little play and if his naps are short for whatever reason he catches up when the elder child is at nursery and the house is quieter.
