Baby feeding advice needed

Hi all,
I’m a new parent. I don’t have any experience with a newborn and I’m following all advice given but I’m a bit stuck on what to do with my baby’s feeding
He’s 5 weeks old and a super hungry baby. I keep asking the midwives and healthcare professionals what I should be doing. He’s gone up to 6 oz every 3 hours and he still seems hungry. I’m getting told to up his feed by another oz but is that not too much for a a 5 week old to be on 7oz every 3 hours? I thought baby’s were meant to up the feed and decrease the time he feeds but he’s still starving every 3 hours. We’ve changed his milk to Kendamil which is full fat and he loves it. He spits up quite a bit which I thought was meant to mean overspill so I’m a bit stuck with what to do
He’s also waking up before 3 hours to feed again
I feed him slowly and he burps regularly to see if that works but he still eats the whole lot
Sorry for the inexperience I just want the best for him

I think it goes on weight so it's roughly 2.5floz per pound in weight.

Does that sound like roughly what he's having?

Have you had him weighed abs is he following his weight centile? Are you or your DP tall? Talk babies do seem to feed more Smile

If he wants more milk then give him more. Just because he spits up doesn’t mean that you are overfeeding him.

Taller babies and more active babies take more milk.

Are you pace feeding? Aka make sure the bottle is horizontal not diagonal down into his mouth as otherwise the milk is going in his mouth and then he is just swallowing as a reflex. So make sure the bottle is horizontal, and that way the teat should only be about half full of milk while you feed him. Then he can take what he wants.
