Meal ideas

Hi all,
Just after some baby friendly, family meal ideas.
I have a month off work (from holidays I've occurred from maternity leave) and now I'm home in time for our lo dinner time I want to our lo to have dinner with us as much as possible!
I dont mind cooking but im no whizz in the kitchen... the only thing I pretty much make from scratch is a bolognaise!
I'm one that would use the packet mixes to make dinners, like a shepherds pie, casserols etc
My concern is ive heard these are high in salt so lo should avoid these.
Most of the quick easy things I make isn't really baby friendly, so im in need of some dinner ideas that would be easy to make and suitable for nearly a 1 year old.

My boy likes pasta meatballs (lamb or beef), chilli con carne minus the chilli! Beef casserole,
Chicken meatballs, basic bland chicken curry, salmon & rice with veg, stir fry - particularly the egg noodles.

Have a look for Rebecca Wilson on Instagram. And she has a couple of books out too. All family friendly meals to serve from 6 months old. Quite a lot of the recipes are very carb based but there's still lots of lovely ones when you just don't know what to plan for.

Yes all from scratch. I make large amounts of the freezable ones, we all eat it as a family on the day it is made then I freeze portions for the 1yo. Usually get 8 - 10 meals for him.
Though since going back to work I've bought a couple of m&s baby fish fingers or pouches, I've bought the curry pouch and used it as a sauce for the chicken meatballs I've got in the freezer and cook rice.
Also when I cook rice, pasta & veg I cook a couple of portions and use the next day. So there are days where no cooking is required.

Definitely recommend the What Mummy Makes cookbook. Not every single one of great but we've had great luck with a couple of curry recipes, some pasta sauces, various oven things. Most are pretty easy to make, good for batch cooking and all baby-suitable
