Feeding

Hi! Just on here for some advice.

My 11 month old still has quite a lot of formula alongside 3 meals a day. He's a big boy - he's tall and looks about 2! So gets quite hungry. He's happy and content on what we feed him at the moment which is...

6am - 7oz bottle
8am - breakfast - usually porridge/weetabix with fruit and toast
10.30am - 5oz bottle
12.30pm - lunch - usually lentil and veg soup/pasta dish etc sometimes with pudding
2.30pm - 5oz bottle
4pm - dinner - usually meat/carb/veg based sometimes with pudding
7pm - 7oz bottle

I know that's a lot and I'm wondering if it's too much?! He isn't fat at all - just really tall and looks older. I know soon we will need to transition off formula and onto milk but just wondering if I would have to drop the amount of milk and up the food?! He never snacks as is always full from what we give him,

Thanks!

You need to get him weighed and check if he is on the same centile he was born on.

I'd swap your 10.30 and 2.30 bottles for snacks instead of milk and then adjust portion size of meals if you need to.

I'd start trying to replace the morning and afternoon bottles with a smaller cup of milk and a snack instead.
