How often do/did you clean floors with crawling baby?

Little one has started crawling.
Maybe I'm thinking into this too much but I can't help but think about what could be all over our floors (germ wise). We have a dog who is outside regularly so obviously that can't be avoided really and I'm certainly not washing his paws down every time he comes in.
Along with our shoes (we generally take them off at the front door and have slippers on in the house but may have to run into the kitchen for example after putting shoes on).
Did any of you bother paying this much attention to how 'clean' your floors were? What were your routines if you wouldn't mind sharing. Just don't want to be exhausting myself cleaning if I don't have to 😆

Not much. Hoovered regularly but mopped maybe monthly Blush had a dog then too.

Dc are 9 and 6 and touch wood are never sick, maybe that’s why.

I have low standards - hoover every couple of weeks, mop once in a blue moon. Laminate floor and we take shoes off most of the time.

As PP said she is good at dusting under tables with her little knees!

Not a lot 🤣
Anecdotal but DD 5 never gets more than a snotty nose and hasn't for a long time
