I exclusively pump to feed my DS, last night I went to a wedding with friends (first night out in a loooong time) and drank (a lot) more than I should have. Ended up falling asleep when I got in at half 10 and have just woke up so engorged. I'm pumping now as they are so painful. When will my milk be safe for DS again?

If you feel safe enough you could be in charge of baby ie not drunk now then yes but you could use the first lot of expressed milk for a bath if you prefer not to feed with it.

My husband has done night feeds and I slept downstairs. Wouldn't take the risk of even holding him last night. Once baby is awake and I've had a shower etc I will

It'll be fine. Honesty.

Yes. Breast milk contains the same level of alcohol as your blood, which isn't much even when you're absolutely blotto. When you're legally intoxicated, breast milk contains as much alcohol as a glass of orange juice.

The rule of thumb is generally if you're ok to look after the baby, you're ok to feed the baby.

If you were really drunk last night or think it'll worry you, you can pump and dump.
