What quirky things does/did your baby do?

I'm finding my LO is getting quirkier by the day at the moment Grin she's 6 months.

She has a favourite song, not forced upon her or even suggested, not even sang whilst I was pregnant with her either. It's the only song that calms her and can change her mood almost instantly, I just noticed her respond well to it a few times so it's now her song. She kicks her left leg almost constantly (yet to crawl so I'm hoping this is just her getting rid of excess energy). Only drinks her milk on the floor unless she's knackered and it's the end of the day. When she drinks on the floor she now has to have a toy to shake around at the same time and pass between both hands whilst I hold her bottle. And I now think she only drinks properly whilst I sing ten green bottles at the same time Confused

Anyone else with a particular quirky baby?! Or is this normal?!

But when we're out happily feeds in the pram with no extras 😂

Is her favourite song ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ by any chance?

DS only nurses lying down, he pulls off at the slightest distraction and sometimes he insists on playing with my phone while feeding. Once he almost deleted all my files. Kids these days…

I love it when he pulls his really cute ‘I want to pull your glasses off’ face.

He get excited and thrashes his arms and legs like crazy every time I take his nappy off.

He’ll suck on some of his toys but if you give him a dummy he just chews it.

Ah I do love that song but no it's not. It's hugely repetitive the one she likes so that's probably why, think 'monkeys jumping on the bed' song but it's not that either.

Yeah I'm wondering if it's just her not being able to use up her energy fully and nothing more, I guess it'll all fade once she's more active, it's very cute though but it has got me wondering if she's going to be one of the quirky kids on her own orbit 😂❤️ totally fine with that if that's the case.

Dd1 used to do an adorable dinosaur-esque roar after she sneezed, every single time, no idea where it came from and we never caught it in camera but we were gutted when it stopped at around 6 months.

Dd2 used to smile uncontrollably whenever anybody dang humpty Dumpt. I remember singing it to her at s wedding when she was 8 months to get her to smile for the camera.

Not baby but also when learning to talk dd2 used to called cuddle, cuddy and sound it all the time from around 15 to 18 months. We were again gutted when it stopped and she learnt to say cuddle instead as it was so cute

At first my DD used to make cute little mouse squeak noises when she was hungry. It stopped at 2 months old sadly. She does though constantly have her tongue out. She was born that way and midwife said, oh all babies do that when they are hungry. She's now 11 mo and she ALWAYS has her tongue out and she's definitely not always hungry. If I'm pushing her around outside I often get random strangers in the street poking their tongues out at her back!

@TataMamma oh that's hilarious 😂 at first you must have been really confused when people started poking their tongues out!

My dd would only drink her bottle at a 90 degree angle whilst listening to let it go - that was a delightful phase!
She also as a tiny baby would laugh hysterically at the walking dead, gorier the better (I'm talking 3 months old, she's not traumatised I promise) - lasted for ages. I can still see her sitting up around 6 months, and tipping over laughing at a zombie eating someone 😳
She's 7 now, and definitely takes after me - absolutely loves the adams family, hotel Transylvania and haunted mansion, anything appropriately spooky - we don't let her watch walking dead anymore funnily enough 😂

Ah glad it's not just mine with this sort of feeding quirk 😂 @lynntheyresexpeople
