You mention PTSD, this is going to put you at risk of PND. How are you feeling? If might be worth speaking yo your GP about how you are feeling.
"Colic" isn't a medical diagnosis, if just means "unexplained crying". So it's just crying that you've not yet figured out the reason for. Once you know what's causing the crying, it's no longer colic because you now know what the crying is.
Doctor example if the reason for crying is teeth cutting the gum, then the colic is caused by teething - rather than the two things together.
How old is baby? Teething mostly only affects the child as they cut through the gum. That worst part is generally only a few days, once the tooth is cut it no longer hurts.
If the tooth is not cutting the gum (as in, you can see physically) then it's likely to be another reason for crying. Depending on baby's age, it could be dozens of different things.
If baby is actively cutting teeth, then the best thing is max dose of Calpol through the day - So 4 doses in 24h. Even if baby seems alright at the dosage time, the build up on maximum dose over the day helps with the nights. You can only do this for a maximum of 3 if 4 days. So don't "waste" your Calpol dosing until the tooth is actually cutting. Otherwise you could end up giving more Calpol for over the recommended time.
