Pick baby up at night or not? 11 week old

It's the second night in a row this has happened and I'm not sure what to do.
My 11 week baby used to go to sleep about 9 pm, to wake up at about 1-2 am and 4-5 am for a feed.
He starts with some grunting or cooing and I normally always get up once he starts squealing or crying and feed him, then put him back to sleep.
Yesterday he woke up briefly about 1.30 am in his crib (no crying) and we both must have fallen asleep without getting up and without feeding as I only remember waking up at 5 am super engorged.
This night he just woke up 30 minutes ago and I got woken up and saw he was cooing and had his eyes open. I got up and went to the loo before feeding him, but when I got back he was asleep again.
Now I don't know if I should pick him up and feed or he's just beginning to learn to sleep through? I'm engorged already. Will skipping the feeds affect my supply? He's ebf and about 15 lbs now. I really don't mind night feeds but at the same time I don't want to disturb him if he's sleeping? Also what should I do during following nights?

If he's upset then definitely pick him up/feed but I'd leave him be if he's happy as he's a good weight. The 4 month sleep regression may switch things up anyway (hopefully not but odds are it will). You can try you hand express if uncomfortable but otherwise your supply will settle down.

My breastfed ds slept through before he was 6 weeks...... It obviously didnt affect supply as he breastfed until he was two.

Id leave him, he's a good weight and you have a consistent supply. Enjoy the sleep!

Also learning to self settle in a healthy way is a really important skill which he's obviously mastering. It will lead to good sleep habits in the future.

Thanks ladies, can always count on Mumsnet even at silly hours! I'll try to get back to sleep myself but it feels so weird not having done the feedShock I hope he wasn't hungry but then surely he would cry wouldn't he?

Yes. He'll definitely let you know if he's hungry.

He's probably just woke up like we all do and has settled down again. It's a good habit...... I used to make a point of always putting my babies down drowsy but awake so they'd do the going to sleep part in their cot and make good associations with it.

Yep he'd cry and tell you at this age. Hope you enjoyed the sleep!
