Warning poo pictures...

My ds is 15mo and he is dairy free has been practically his whole life. He's always had issues with his poo either constipated/diarrhoea. The doctors have never been too concerned...

I am sure there is something wrong. His poo's have been like this for months. Please tell me these poo's are not normal?! The pictures attached are today and yesterday as I'm going to start documenting them all.

Maybe he's allergic to more than dairy? I've just signed him up for private health care and I'm going to see if I can get any further this route.

Any ideas anyone on what I should do?!

Good lord! Poor thing, no that's definitely not normal. Sounds very sensible organising some testing. What does your GP say, if anything?

Bless him, doesn’t appear normal to me! Are you sure there’s no hidden dairy in the foods he’s eating? Have you cut out soya too? Most people allergic to dairy are allergic to soya too. But I’d definitely push for allergy testing to confirm.

Thank you both! I am in the process now of organising allergy testing. I hope it brings something to light! 😩

I haven't cut out soya! Maybe this is something I should try. Thank you

Oh the poor love.

Totally agree you need to be looking at other foodstuff he may be allergic/intolerant to.

It looks like another allergy. Tests only show ige allergies so although they might be useful, you need to try and exclude foods and then reintroduce them a few weeks later to see if the exclusion made a difference.

I'd start with top allergens, soya, egg and wheat.

I'd also keep a food diary to track any other foods - it can take 72 hours from consuming to an allergic reaction like this.

My DS has allergies to oat and coconut so it doesn't necessarily need to be the top allergens but I'd start with those I've suggested. Lots of rice and potatoes rather than breads etc. See if he improves.
