Hi
I'm just after some morning and afternoon snack ideas please ? Smile I'm still getting her used to more solids and textures.

Also - I'm going to be transitioning to blue milk next week, can I give this in a sippy cup rather than a bottle? She loves using her sippy cup for water- and how much blue milk does she need per day?

Rice cakes? My little boy loves marmite rice cakes. Bread sticks? Fruit like raisins, banana etc?

Yes that'll be fine. I think it's about 5oz a day but I was still giving my son at that age morning and nighttime bottles so easily went over that amount.

Mine loves fruit - bananas, cherries and sweet satsumas specifically!

You’re supposed to switch to a cup, open best or weighted straw, but sippy cup is better than a bottle. In our case we haven’t managed it at nearly 15 months, she still won’t drink milk from any cup (I’ve tried them all) but happily drinks water from them. I stuck with a bottle first thing and before bed, have now dropped the morning one and trying to reduce the bedtime one but she’s very attached to it!

I think it’s about 400ml of dairy (or alternative) they should have, but that includes milk in cereal, cheese, yoghurt etc. Useful info here - this woman has loads of good weaning/ feeding little ones info plus recipes www.srnutrition.co.uk/2020/05/milk-after-one-years-old/

Snacks are meant to be ‘mini meals’ apparently and contain a few different food groups, we don’t always manage that really and to be honest some days if she’s eaten loads at meals we don’t bother with snacks at all. I sometimes batch cook stuff like savoury muffins, fritters etc and keep them in the freezer to use as snacks. But only sometimes - more often it’s stuff like a rice cake with cream cheese or nut butter, breadstick with hummus, a babybel cheese and some quartered grapes, banana, yoghurt with fruit or spoonful of nut butter, cracker with grated cheese and cucumber. She’d gladly swap any of the above for the baby crisp things though, I try not to overdo them but they’re great for an easy option somedays.
