Neutropenia

Hello, I'm new to this and would like some advice.

My daughter is 2 years old and has been diagnosed with potential neutropenia. I'm looking for help as I'm unsure of whether to send her to nursery or keep her home until she starts school, as I don't want her getting unwell all the time from being in nursery. Is anyone in the same boat as me or been through this?

Many thanks

I don't think there's any research to say that Nursery is beneficial before the age of 3 so if it's optional, I would talk to her HCPs to see if it's worth sending her then abs what you can do to minimise risk.

My ds was neurogenic for his first 2.5 years. It really depends on your dds levels how ill she’s been and lots of other stuff hcp best to answer my ds although no neutropenia anymore does have a primary immunodeficiency he’s 7 and doing very well it’s a scary thing but my ds did grow out of it.
